	Once you apply for the United Mileage Plus Platinum Visa Card, you are credited with 20,000 bonus miles as soon as you make your first purchase with it.  Every single time you stand in line at the grocery store, and use your United Mileage Plus Platinum Visa Card, you add 2 bonus miles for every $1 that you spend at the store.  You also earn 2 miles for every $1 that you spend at the gas station and at home improvement stores.
