Drinking water is essential in maintaining overall well-being and healthy aging. Water allows the body to effectively and efficiently absorb the nutrients that are consumed from food and flushes the kidneys of toxins. The internal organs perform better when they are properly hydrated. Furthermore, drinking water may also have an effect on one's outside appearance. It may make the skin become more clearer and give it a healthy and youthful glow.

Regular physical activity is vital in healthy aging and retaining physical independence. Exercise and other physical activities may make the body stronger, tone the muscles, improve blood circulation, improve cardiovascular heart performance, and many more. These activities may also promote a sense of well-being and are often used to treat stress and anxiety.
