My students in MAXpersuasion are either living the good life or on their way to it because as we expand our universes we get exactly what we want out of life.

I've been thinking about the concept of affluence lately--from principles to thoughts to action to the realization of it.

If you really want to realize your dreams, and I assume you do, then installing an affluent mindset and affluent thought processes will help you on this path. These are strategies of the world's wealthiest people.

Why is Bill Gates wealthier than you?

More than a mindset, I'm talking about foundational principles and core strategies of wealth. This is a result of programming and teaching ourselves at the level of our other than conscious minds and it's a phenomenal tool.

You most probably have a good sense of yourself and what you want in life. It's possible that you've gained some insight from mapping out your universes--personal, business, private--and understanding your values and criteria on a profound and thoughtful level. These provide the drive it takes to succeed.

One of the many lessons I learned from my dad was that if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life.

This isn't new information obviously. I have benefited from it immeasurably.

If we were to follow some of the wealthiest people in the world for a day, a day in the life, so to speak, we might feel like they were working from the time they woke up until the time they slept. It might be downright exhausting to do this, to try to keep up.

Why is this? Well, our their dreams, what they most desire in life, is not the same as our dreams and what we most desire.

Turn the tables and have them follow you around for a day. And assuming you are lit on fire about what you do, manifesting what you want, having the experience of your criteria being met, and having your wealth and success at the level of your desire, they would most likely be exhausted too.

The fuel for this fire is really understanding who you are and what you want. Clarity. The clearer the image of your heart's desire and life's desire, the clearer your ability will be to create it. This fire will burn hot and bright.

Stepping into the mindset of millionaires and billionaires is where we're headed with this. You can create the same results with intention and expectation.

My early training in neuro linguistic programming had a saying, "If it's possible in the world, it's possible for me. It's only a matter of how."

There was always a smart aleck in the back of the room that had to confront the trainer and say, "So are you telling me a paraplegic has the same ability as an Olympic athlete?" No. That's absolutely not what's being said here.

Here's what's being said: If it is possible for other humans who are of roughly the same capacity as you, it is possible for you. There is nothing inherently 'better' about Bill Gates and yet I hazard to say he's wealthier than you (and me), at least for the time being.

Why? Maybe it's luck. Sure. It could be. It could be he was in the right place at the right time.

But that's not really enough. I love the saying, "I'm a great believer in luck. And I find the harder I work, the more of it I have."

Where inspiration and perspiration meet, that's where magic happens.

However, you can't have one side without the other. It's not enough to have the the thoughts without the work/action/doing.
