Did you know that network marketing is not about what it seems to be?

It took me years to finally "get it". It turns out our products and services are not our true products. This business is not about selling people vitamins or skin care products. And it's not about getting people to join you in the business.

Do not think your product is your product and that it has everything to do with your overall success? In the end it doesn't matter if your product was used by the ancient Pigawatamee tribe, that it comes straight from the rain forests, whether it has patents, or even that it is more effective, cheaper and better.

None of that has much to do with your success. The only thing that matters is that your product does hold true value and provides a solution to the end user. There are a lot of companies out there with great products, which is the necessary ingredient for long-term growth, so stop worrying about the features and price point of your product.

Your REAL product is not what you think it is!

I could send you a ton of the greatest new super vitamin, but unless you know how to market it to the right people, you wouldn't make a dime and you would have a house full of boxes!

The money is not in the product. The money is in the knowing how to market the product.

So the product is the marketing system and the people that come out the other side as leaders.

We are all here to learn how to be successful small business owners and to teach others how to do the same.

Our product is a well trained distributor!

This is a leadership development business. Our product is our people. We go out and find the right people and train them with the skills and attitude for success. I will tell you, up front, that this business is fun, exciting and simple if you will let it be, but it will take the same tenacity, dedication and professionalism that is required to earn six figures in any industry. You have to become a professional networker if you want to get paid like one!

You need to ask yourself right now if you truly want a career as a network marketer, and are you willing to do what it takes to be successful? If you treat this like a hobby, then you will get paid as if it where a hobby.

The #1 job of a network marketer is to teach them(YOU), the correct concepts and methods, and to tell them what they need to hear...not just what they want to hear. Your reputation is on the line, so be honest with people and tell them the truth. Train them the RIGHT way to succeed in this business, and you will develop friendships that will last a lifetime!

The true wealth and freedom in this industry is only achieved after you have developed 1-5 leaders who can stand independent of you and develop leaders of their own. That is the exciting part of network marketing, helping and watching people grow as a human being. No amount of money could replace that.

Over time you will find that the greatest benefit of this industry is not the money, the time, or even the friendships that you develop.

It is what this industry can make of YOU, and the person YOU become!
