Want a Better Gun?

Airsoft players are always on the prowl for better guns. They need amazing firepower during war games, something cool but affordable. An interesting gun fits the bill. It has the looks, the kick, and the speed. The KSC airsoft guns are reliable side arms airsoft players would like use and add to his or her collection.

The KSC airsoft guns can be purchased online and will fetch for $150 to $180. There are three interesting models – the Glock 18c, Glock 26c, KSC Steyr Tactical Machine Pistol. The Glock is a throwback to the first Glock polymer-framed pistols, of which the most popular was the Glock 17, a 9mm luger. This is the granddaddy of the KSC airsoft guns.

The three KSC Babies

Of the KSC airsoft guns, the Glock 18c can fire in full automatic mode. This feature edges out the Glock 17! It has the weight and feel of the real luger. Although the slide and the outer barrel rattle when shaken, it does not affect the performance of the gun. It is said that the original Glock gives the same rattling sound, so there should be no worry about this.

The 18c can take Green gas or TOP gas and HFC134a. It takes about two to three seconds to fill the gun; one fill can give a shooting round of 1.5 magazines of BBs. This can provide adequate cover during the skirmishes. Caution has to be exercised though to prevent overfilling the magazine because this can damage the insides of the magazine.

Minor Problems?

Like all gas powered KSC airsoft guns, the 18c has to be warmed to perform efficiently. This is the usual problem with other gas powered firearms. If the gun is exposed to cold temperatures, the gas freezes. The gun has to be warmed to room temperature, about 2-3 minutes before it can be fired again.

The Glock 18c shoots slower when nearing empty, but this has already been resolved. Still there are complaints about the metal slide, which cracks easily after prolonged use. Again, the manufacturer has a new line to add to the KSC airsoft guns. The newer Glock 18 will have a metal slide to rid the problem.

The KSC Glock 26c is another lethal baby of the KSC airsoft guns. This gas blowback can switch from semi to full automatic with an amazing speed of 250 fps. You can shoot a target 40 feet away. One drawback is the slide again. In this gun the slide gets out of kilter. The remedy is to realign the spring. If this happens during a skirmish, that would be unfortunate.

Another option is the KSC Steyr tactical Machine Pistol. Firing at 310 to 330 fps with a silencer gives you an added edge over your opponents. This gun is mean-looking, but is pulled down by the fragile cocking handle.

Great Guns

If you have to get any of the KSC airsoft guns, you will decide on the points and features you need for the great sidearm. You know what you need for great shooting.

You either hate or love this gun; but this is still the ideal sidearm because of its auto shooting, accuracy and speed.
