Title: GOD's will Word Count: 368 Summary: God our Savior desires all men to be saved. After Adam and Eve sinned, in His love God promised them to send a Savior, Jesus Christ. If Jesus finishes His work of salvation, if we are in God forever, then we are back in His own image. Keywords: Jesus, Jesus Christ, Savior, GOD will, the will of GOD, apostle, children of God, His own image, His love, the will of God, the knowledge of the truth, all men to be saved Article Body: For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:3-4) On the sixth day of creation God created human beings in His own image. God let human beings have dominion over all of His creations. Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them (cf. Genesis 1:26-27). God created the Garden of Eden for human beings. God talked to them directly. But in current condition human beings are not the same anymore because since they sinned, they didn't have His own image anymore. They lost fellowship with God. After they sinned, in His love God promised them to send a Savior, Jesus Christ. But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons (cf. Galatians 4:4-5; John 3:16). Jesus prays for all believers "Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world...." (John 17:24). If Jesus finishes His work of salvation, if we are in God forever, then we are back in His own image. We shall be like Him as apostle John wrote "Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is" (1 John 3:2). "And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever" (1 John 2:17). (by MES - http://turkiyespot.com/Jesus-theSavior.com)
