Title: Will Christians Be In The Tribulation Word Count: 634 Summary: Paul is very clear concerning this question. He breaks humanity into only Two Groups and demonstrates that only one of these two groups will be in the beginning Tribulation part of the final or 12th Day of the Lord. (The beginning “Wrath or Tribulation Part” of the 12th Day of the Lord, the Tribulation Period and Daniel’s 70th Week are three different names for the same event.) 1Thes 5:1-10 1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto ... He breaks humanity into only Two Groups and demonstrates that only one of these two groups will be in the beginning Tribulation part of the final or 12th Day of the Lord. (The beginning “Wrath or Tribulation Part” of the 12th Day of the Lord, the Tribulation Period and Daniel’s 70th Week are three different names for the same event.) 1Thes 5:1-10 1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. (KJV) Now here are the two groups. (1) Group One: Paul names this group the “ye, you, we, and us group.” Obviously, Paul included himself in this Group One. Furthermore, all Christians are included in this "ye, you, we and us group." None of those in this Group One will see even one minute of the entire Tribulation period. In addition, when Paul spoke of the absence of us Christians in the beginning of the 12th Day of the Lord, he made it impossible to arbitrarily designate part of the Tribulation as wrath and arbitrarily declare part of it not wrath. In other words, from the above Scriptures, it is obvious that the Group One, in which Paul includes himself, will not be in any part of the beginning (wrath part) of the 12th and Final Day of the Lord at all. (2) Group Two: Paul names the other group the “they—them group." This Group Two, the “they—them group," however, will in fact go into and endure the entire “Wrath Part” of the 12 Day. This distinction between these two groups is extremely important! Why is this distinction between these two groups so important? Because, according to the Scriptures above, only one group will be in the beginning wrath of the 12th and final Day of the Lord. According to the Scriptures above, which of these two groups will be in it? Not Paul’s group! Since we are included in the group with Paul and all Christians, we will not be in it either. The beginning point of the 12th and Final Day of the Lord will come on Group Two as a thief in the night, but not on Group One. Since no thief gives warning signs, Group One will not be in the beginning tribulation period or we to would be caught off guard by the thief like character of the Final Day of the Lord. To say we are "forewarned" is moot because to warn us voids the concept of the thief in the night. Remember! No thief gives warning signs! You can place the church in hell with as much Scriptural support as you can place it anywhere in the 12th Day of the Lord—Tribulation—Daniel’s 70th Week.
