All of these jets are being completely gutted and redone inside and out. Not too long ago, it was a big deal for a person to own a small propeller plane with about ten seats in it. Now many very famous and rich people are buying large jumbo jets and turning them into hotels and clubs in the air. I think that the movie Soul Plane helped to shed some light on and poke some fun at this growing trend of “pimping” out private jet planes. This movie went a little overboard on the types of accessories that most people would put in their private jet plane, but it also showed some of the things that people actually do have in their private jets. There have been many news stories about celebrities buying private jet planes for millions of dollars, and then spending two or three times more to get the planes designed and furnished exactly the way that they want them. Most of the time in these large jumbo jet planes, the seating will be completely removed, and other amenities will be put in their place. Some of the time the seating in the plane goes from three hundred to about twenty five. However the twenty five seats that are still available are usually recliners or sofas, which will make any trip much more enjoyable. Also these private jet planes usually have some sort of bedroom, maybe a bar, and sometimes even a dance floor built-in. Others have a dining table, many televisions, chandeliers, and other accessories to make the private plane feel like home. Personally, I believe that all of this extravagance is a bit too much, but I think that people should be able to spend their money in whatever way they see fit. So if anyone out there would like to invite me to take a ride on one of these over extravagant private jet planes, I think I would not have a problem saying yes, and go along for the ride. Anyone wanna make me an offer?
