In fact , it is considered to be one of the great club capitals of the world. Just to mention some: Jockey Club and "Malibu" (both on Salinas beach) are ideal spots to drink and watch the beautiful people lying in the sun while DJs spin deep house and chill out tunes. An expensive one is the Pacha where you cannot hope to enter without €50 on hand. A famous awarded club is the Space nightclub at Playa d´en Bossa always packed up with people! Some others are the Privilege, El Divino and the Space .

But honestly there is much more to Ibiza than its excellent nightclubs. The island has a 200 km / 125 mile coastline where many small coves and over 50 stunning beaches are waiting to be discovered. Not to mention the local fantastic cooking with its simply exquisite specialties like ensaimada, a sort of flat, soft pastry coil with pumpkin jam and lard and flao, a sweet cheese and mint flan. But the official Majorcan foodstuff, instead of being fish as someone may observe, is a type of red pork pate called sobressada ( or sobrasada in Majorcan). The red colour comes from hefty amounts of sweet paprika. Very popular all over the Balearic Islands. There are also local product to buy and farms to visit : consider some olive oil tasting while visiting the Ibiza island.

When it comes to choosing a place to stay on Ibiza, it really depends on what type of vacation experience you are looking for.

If you like partying till 4 am, crowded of shouting people and stuff, you should head to San Antonio with its famous Cafe Mambo, the Pacha pre-parties, or the famous Cafe Del Mar next door. There are many standard hotels in many villages along the beaches with lush gardens. The majority of amenities and activities for Ibiza Hotels are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for meals, drinks and activities. Guests can relax in the bar, play pool in the games room, catch up on the news in the TV room, or unwind with a cool drink on the terrace; the hotels also host barbecues. Kids are kept entertained at the mini-club, children’s pool and playground. The hotels offer a full programme of activities and entertainment for both adults and children with games, sports, competitions, dancing and professional shows which include flamenco dancing and magic shows.

Practical amenities include currency exchange, laundry facilities and babysitting services. You will certainly see most of them by walking along the sea. They usually exhibit names related to ideal Latin male figures from Poseidon hotel, Don Juan hotel to Marco Polo hotel.or more exotic ones as Mare nostrum hotel, Maritimo hotel, Lux Mar Hotel, Playa Grande hotel, Playa Sol hotel, Sol Bay hotel, Nautilus hotel. There something like 300 licensed accommodation possibilities on Ibiza, that cover the entire budget range, from youth hostels to boutique hotels.

Most of them have a website online offering the possibility to book directly online. August is the most prohibited month with thousand of tourists so think in advance as sleeping in the beach, unfortunately I should say, is illegal.
