For those who need a shopping fix, one of the largest open-air markets in all of Spain is located in Torrevieja. It houses a farmers market with fresh fruits and vegetables as well as a craft market where you can find an endless variety of offerings from leather goods, to hand made carvings and jewelry.

For those who always want to get 18 holes in on their holidays, there are also many golf courses to choose from in Torrevieja, to please even the most discerning golf enthusiast. At locations such as the Torrevieja Golf Club you can play a round, with fees anywhere from thirty five to eighty Euros. The price is not only dependent on the course you are playing, but also the time of the year and how busy the course is. If you are going during a busy time, you will want to book your tee time far in advance.
